| Description | Malus ioensis 'Rubra' Red flowering Crabapple A beautiful small deciduous tree, Crab Apple Ioensis Rubra bears large single deep red flowers in mid to late Spring on bare branches. The mature foliage on this tree is bronze-green, and small reddish brown fruit are often born in late Summer to Autumn, making this an attractive feature and great for making jellies and jam. Crab Apples are a smaller growing tree making them perfect for small gardens and container planting.
