Description

Quercus robur

English Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown. As the foliage is smaller than other deciduous trees, fallen leaves are not particularly difficult to eliminate and will not clog drains. 10"/25cm pot

Cornus kousa var Chinensis, Kousa Dogwood, Chinese Dogwood

This is arguably the world's most beautiful dogwood, with a fabulous show of white flowers in spring, and magnificent autumn colour. A beautiful small (up to 4m) deciduous feature tree and is extremely beautiful when in bloom.  Flowering season is late spring, weeks after the tree puts on foliage again. 8" pot size

Floribunda rosa 'Bonica Rose'

A very prolific flowering variety with the whole plant literally being covered in small cupped flowers of pretty shell-pink. Long flowering season. Approximately 2ft in height. Available online ONLY - Not in store.

Rhaphiolepis indica

Oriental Pearl is a compact, dense evergreen shrub that rarely grows to more than 1 metre high and 1 metre wide. It produces gorgeous fragrant, white flowers through autumn to late spring. Oriental Pearl likes any well drained position. Makes a great seaside cottage plant. 12"/30cm pot - Short specimens
ContentRoses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries, although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renowned for their flowers and beauty, they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit. The rose hip can be made into an old fashioned jam. Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses to climbers and weeping varieties. Amongst all their beautiful colours, varieties and fragrances there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden. Rhaphiolepis indica 'Oriental Pearl' Indian Hawthorn

The attractive glossy foliage is dark green in colour and contrasts well with the massed display of flowers. Grows in full sun to partial shade with best flowers produced in full sun. Hardy and adaptable to most soils but prefers enriched, well-drained soils and appreciates an application of chunky mulch. Resistant to salt spray, and once established (with early good watering) will withstand dry conditions for extended periods. Is heat and frost tolerant to a degree. Excellent choice for pots, low hedging, massed planting in shrubberies or around pools.
