Description

Malus purpurea

The Purple Crab Apple makes a handsome small tree, quite round topped in maturity. With beautiful flowers which are a deep, red-purple colour creating an effect that looks almost unbelievably rich. A great specimen tree, in Autumn the Purple Crab Apple has dark purple fruit and leaves which turn shades of yellow and red. 13" pot size.

Syzygium paniculatum 'Backyard Bliss'

Backyard Bliss hedge has superpowers! Because it's Insect and psyllid resistant, how amazing! Its a dense, glossy green leaved native shrub with coppery orange new growth. Great for hedging, doesn't need a lot of pruning and is fast growing.  This variety is a great choice as a dense screen around pools and small gardens or as a topiary. This evergreen has a narrow upright growth habit. Lovely clean glossy appearance that will make your yard a dream look out into. Grows approximately-  Height: 3-4 Meters Width: 1.5-2 Meters 10"/25cm pot size. Syzygium Backyard Bliss is highly susceptible to the Lilly Pilly Green Beetle. This Beatle is highly effective at stripping the leaves and foliage. We recommend the following varieties which are resistant to both Lilly Pilly Beetle and Psyllids: Acmena smithii Sublime, Acmena smithii 'minor' varieties, Acmena smithii Firescreen and Acmena smithii Green Screen.
