Produces thick, bulging culms, with weeping branches and evergreen luscious leaves to give you a tropical feel all year round! Can be used as a feature, in pots or ground, screening and hedging. If using as hedging plant at least 1m apart. It is non-invasive bamboo that can be trimmed to any height, if left it may reach between 6-8m. Cercis canadensis ‘Eastern Redbud’ originating from Eastern North America, is a large deciduous shrub or medium sized tree that makes a wonderful feature, shade tree or mass planted along driveways and avenue’s. In late spring before the foliage re-appears, the branches are covered with bright pink flowers. The leaves are large, glossy and heart shaped. The Eastern Redbud is frost hardy, and can grow in sandy and clay soils, providing they are well drained. It is able to reach a mature height of 9m if unclipped.
