The Banksia Rose is a tough evergreen climbing rose with soft ruffled yellow flowers which appear in Spring. Like Iceberg Roses, it's prized as a disease resistant and hardy rose. It works well as a groundcover rose or a climber when given a support such as a trellis.
The Banksia rose is an incredibly useful and versatile climber or groundcover as it is low maintenance, thornless and tolerates full sun and part shade.

Native to the Mediterranean, the bay tree is well known for its culinary use, often added to soups and stews. It is an upright, hardy evergreen tree with deep green, aromatic foliage. Leaves are glossy and oval in shape and hang from red-brown branches. In spring, yellow buds appear, opening to clusters of fluffy yellow flowers, adding a lovely contrast amongst the foliage. The Horse-Chestnut is a large domed, deciduous tree that is popular in the parklands of Europe and is also fairly common in the cooler areas of Australia. The leaves are large and palmately compound, while the creamy white flowers have a pink spot. They make excellent summer shade trees and are a handsome addition to larger spaces where you can appreciate their outline and attractive foliage which turns russet brown in early autumn, making a wonderful autumnal sight. These trees are best known for their spikey green fruit that contain shiny dark brown nuts or 'conkers'. Conkers particularly when fresh and young contains toxins and should not be eaten.
