Banksia marginata 'Silver Banksia'

A classic woody native Australian shrub, Banksias are great for a low maintenance garden and create interest with their recognizable flower cones. Silver Banksias will grow to the size of a large shrub and and good for screening. They're also great for coastal areas, as they're naturally found by the sea and tolerate sand and salt. 10" pot size.

Acer campestre 

Common names: Queen Elizabeth Maple/Hedge Maple Attractive green foliage turning yellow in autumn this tree is widely used street plantings, and is great for Screening or Hedging, Shade Tree, Wind Breaks. Tolerant of dry conditions once established, an excellent all round tree for developments etc where a fairly narrow upright tree is needed. Mature growth 8m.

Washingtonia robusta 

Common names: Mexican Cotton Fan Palm, Mexican Fan Palm, Mexican washingtonia, Washingtonia palm. The Mexican Cotton Fan Palm is a medium-tall sized palm originating from Mexico. It can reach a mature height of 7m in Victoria's climate. It has large fan like fronds with remnant threads of foliage that appear like ‘cotton’ hanging from between frond segments. It is tough, drought and frost tolerant when established! It is a perfect addition for features and tropical gardens. 100 litre pot.

Allocasuarina torulosa

The Forest Sheoak is a hardy native Australian tree with a light brown bark with deep fissures. The leaves are thin green needles like a pine tree. A good garden specimen. Male Forest Sheoak trees have gold flowers in Autumn and the female have rounded warty cones. In Winter the branches turn a beautiful copper colour. Sheoaks are good for windbreaks and screening.

Buxus sempervirens

English Box is Melbourne’s most popular box hedging and topiary plant. • Low maintenance, only requiring 1-2 prunings a year • Evergreen with no flowers • Can be used for hedging, topiary balls, cones, squares, spirals and standards  6"/14cm pot size. Why buy 6" pot English Box?

English Box is a fantastic plant low hedge or border plant that looks great in pretty much any garden style and can cope with Melbourne's extreme 4 season days. The 6" pot, or 14cm English Box size is a good medium size English Box plant for establishing a box hedge or border cheaply but faster than choosing the cheapest size of English Box. Due of our close relationship with suppliers and purchasing in massive quantities we are able to pass our savings over to you, the customer.  As such, we have always been able to offer ridiculously low prices on our high quality plants. And in some cases we offer plants that are well below wholesale and trade prices. Our individual 6” English Box is already usually cheaper than any other retail nursery in Melbourne, but when you buy in bulk you can get it for even less. Check out our bulk buy deal on 6" English Box. The advantages of English Box hedge and border is that it only requires one or two trimmings per year. It needs very little water and it grows in almost any soil, except for a very heavy or poorly drained soil. English Box grows in full sun through to the very deepest shade. In fact English Box will grow with no direct sunlight. Please note: During winter, it is common for discoloration on the foliage of English box. It is due to severe frosts, where our products are grown in the coldest parts of Victoria. They will sort themselves out in spring, however, if it does bother you, please treat with Dolomite Lime, and a slow release fertilizer a month later.
