Description

Portulacaria afra, Money Tree

Jade Succulent is an extremely common plant in Australian gardens and has been for some time. Not only is it easy to grow, you'll find it's hardy in most conditions, and really only struggles when over-watered. Preferring a loose draining soil, the Jade Succulent is one of the more resilient succulents when it comes to things like clayey soil. A very attractive addition to any garden!

Luma apiculata

Myrtus Luma is the medium to tall hedge with real traditional style. A lot of people believe the only fast growing larger hedge with fine foliage is the Pittosporum. It is an extraordinarily versatile plant suitable for hedging, screening, topiary, or as a specimen tree, but its small, aromatic leaves respond so well to pruning that it is commonly used as a hedge. Myrtus luma also makes a wonderful specimen tree if left unpruned. With age it forms an outstanding trunk with cinnamon brown branches. Its bark peels to reveal streaks of pink and beige. What a plant! It really should be seen more in Australian gardens.

Archontophoenix cunninghamiana

Bangalow Palms are native to Australia and are often used as indoor plants here down South. To grow into a very large tree they would probably require warmer climates than Melbourne, but as a small or medium size tree they look lovely anyway. Use Bangalow Palms as a clumped indoor plant or in a sheltered spot outdoors to add a tropical feel to the garden.

Azalea 'Alba Magnifica'

Azalea Alba Magnifica (Magnificent White) is a white flowering evergreen azalea which puts on a nice show in Spring. A great easy to grow flowering border or small flowering shrub, these Azaleas also look great mass planted in a bed. Azalea Alba Magnifica likes full sun or part shade, so it's also good for underplanting trees.

Dianella caerulea

Dianella Goddess is a hardy, beautiful plant with vivid emerald green foliage. Delicate blue flowers & berries are produced in Spring to Summer. Attractive foliage and flowers that are adapted to a range of climates and soil types. This plant is low maintenance and is frost tolerant also attracts butterflies.

Fraxinus griffithii 'Evergreen Flowering Ash'

Evergreen Flowering Ash is a fast growing evergreen tree, it bears foliage that is glossy green on top and a hairy silver colour underneath. Ideal as a feature tree for the garden, parks or street planting.

Evergreen Flowering Ash is best placed in full sunlight with well drained soil. It is drought tolerant and requires low maintenance once established. Grows to approximately 8 meters in height.

Rosa kolorscape ‘Kardinal Rose’

Kardinal rose produces rich fragrant blooms of a scarlet-red colour. Mild fragrance. Repeat flowering. Available online ONLY - Not in store.

Cuphea hyssopifolia

Rob's Mauve is a compact evergreen shrubby bush with fine heather like foliage and masses of mauve flowers in spring through to autumn. Ideal for low borders or hedges and pots. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established. Prefers a full sun to part shade position

Acmena smithii

Native Australian hedging & screening plant. Hardy evergreen with glossy leaves, which are red when young and then turn a dark green. While Neighbours-Be-Gone is our most outstanding Lilly Pilly variety for all purposes, we do recommend Lilly Pilly Acmena Smithii Select when you have particularly poor conditions. It is slower growing but more tolerant of very poor soil.
