Description

Castanea sativa

April's Gold Chestnut is a fast growing, deciduous, medium tree with large, green leaves with massed clusters of scented, white with yellow-red speckled flowers in Spring followed by edible, dark brown nuts encased in a prickly, golden burr in Autumn. Ideal for full sun in large gardens. Requires cold Winters and two different varieties for satisfactory fruiting.

Argyranthemum frutescens

Maize Marguerite daisy is a small growing, bushy evergreen shrub that produces yellow daisy like flowers over a long period. It is ideal for use in garden beds and patio pots. Approx growth habit: 50x50cm 3”/7cm pot 6''/14cm pot

Lavandula angustifolia

Munstead Lavender is a dwarf-rounded bush with aromatic grey-green foliage. It produces dense spikes of aromatic beautiful tiny purple to violet flowers during summer. These are lighter in colour than Hidcote Lavender, and the plant grows slightly larger. 8" pot size

Rosa banksiae

The Banksia Rose is a tough evergreen climbing rose with soft ruffled yellow flowers which appear in Spring. Like Iceberg Roses, it's prized as a disease resistant and hardy rose. It works well as a groundcover rose or a climber when given a support such as a trellis. The Banksia rose is an incredibly useful and versatile climber or groundcover as it is low maintenance, thornless and tolerates full sun and part shade. 6"/14cm pot size.
