An attractive deciduous feature tree with a broad-domed crown and smooth pale grey bark. Its leaves are distinctively ribbed and serrated. Provides autumn interest in the garden as it changes from dark green to yellow. Yellow catkins are prominent in spring. This variety is often pleached.
