Bacopa monnieri The Brahmi plant, commonly called Water Hyssop, is highly regarded as an herb that enhances memory. It can be consumed fresh or used in a tea when dried. A sprig of Brahmi placed in a murky fish tank can clear the water by the next day. This plant is indigenous to India and thrives in warm, moist soils with some shade. It is sensitive to drought and frost. As a perennial ground cover, it typically grows to dimensions of 0.15m by 0.60m. sidered to be an important herb in the ancient Indian medicine, and is reported to have similar properties to another herb called the gotu kola otherwise known as the arthritis plant here in Australia and the remedies made from both plants are used in similar ways to treat symptoms. In India it has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for thousands of years for mental health including memory, learning, as well as anxiety and mental fatigue. It is also used as a general tonic. Choisya ternata

Mexican Orange Blossom is so named as it's flowers are of a similar nature and scent to an orange tree! The foliage is a mid to light green and is covered with masses of scented white flowers through Spring and Summer. This attractive shrub will grow to approx. 1.5 - 2m, but is happy to be clipped to suit. As a result it can be also used as a hedge or screen. It is best grown in full sun or part shade and is reasonably frost tolerant.

Purple Smoke Bush is a gem in the garden thanks to it's unique blend of colours that change throughout the seasons. Betula pendula 'Dalecarlica' The Cut-Leaf Birch is a very graceful tree with distinctive feathery foliage and fine white bark. A moderate growing and medium sized tree, ideal for either a small garden setup or even a larger forest-like vista, this tree will grow well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position. Tis called a plum! But a fruiting plum it is not! The Elvins Flowering Plum is a perfect little round deciduous tree with stunning autumn colours, come spring time pops of blossom unfurl into white flowers which magically change colour to coral pink. What a journey! The best option for a smaller garden as this tree may be little but mighty in personality. Loves full sun and moist well draining soil.
