Description

Olea europaea

Swan Hill Olive is a unique and elegant evergreen tree that grows to a large size of approximately 34ft in height. Likes moist to dry soils and is drought tolerant. Swan Hill should be planted in a position of full sun to partial shade. This tree has a very long life span and strong branches. It bears grey green foliage and light gray scaly bark. Please note, Swan Hill variety is a very low fruiting Olive, mainly used for screening and not fruiting.
Corylus avellana Halls Giant is a robust and established hazelnut variety known for its large, flavorful nuts, perfect for eating fresh or for roasting and cooking. To ensure successful pollination, consider planting varieties like Barcelona, Cosford, or Wanliss Pride alongside it. Though this tree has both male and female flowers, they don’t always bloom simultaneously, so mixing varieties is beneficial. Choose a sunny spot with well-drained, well-prepared soil for the best growth. Make sure to plant the bud union above the soil line. Water thoroughly and keep the soil moist until the tree is well-established. When planting, fertilise and then again once you see new growth. Pruning after planting is also recommended to promote vigorous new growth. 10"/25cm pot

Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge. Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Lavandula angustifolia

Traditionally English Lavender was grown for its heavenly fragrance, used in oils and potpourri. • Small, slender blue-ish purple flowers on tall stems above the foliage • Grown in pots, as a hedge or in the cottage garden to attract bees and butterflies Tolerates drought and dry conditions, preferring well drained soils 6"/14cm pot
ContentGardenias are warm climate plants, which are at their best in a mild, humid climate. They are seen to perfection in frost-free areas north of Sydney and Perth, but will grow in cooler areas like Melbourne in a warmer, protected position.
