Camellia “Asakura” is an evergreen shrub that grows to over 3m tall. In Winter it bears large semi double white flowers with large gold stamens. Young flowers can have a pinkish edge on the petals. Plant in a sunny position in rich well drained soil. Water well and mulch in hotter months. Fertilise and prune lightly in Spring.
