Description

Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisiana

Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge. Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser. 10" pot size.

Lagerstroemia indica x fauriei 'Tuscarora'

'Tuscarora' is one of the best of the dark fuchsia-pink flowering Lagerstroemia's. The flowers and highly ornamental bark make this tough small tree a useful specimen or screening tree. Crepe Myrtles are adaptable to a range of conditions, heat and some dryness but requires adequate moisture during establishment. So can also be used well as a street tree. Mature growth: 6m x 4m wide.

Robinia pseudoacacia Frisia

Golden Robinia has beautiful yellow Spring leaves which deepen in colour to a fresh lime-yellow during Summer, then turn golden-yellow in Autumn, before falling. A visual standout amongst other trees, this Robinia tree is an all round tough plant suitable for many different landscape uses. Whether as a magnificent specimen or a street tree in polluted and industrial areas, it grows with vigor and strength.

Persea americana ‘Avocado’ (Bacon)

Upright vigorous avocado-producing pear-shaped fruit of medium quality. Most cold hardy variety, down to -5C. Great for Victoria. Avocados are very fussy about their soil conditions and will not tolerate wet feet or heavy soils, it is essential to prepare the ground for an avocado well before planting.  Young trees are susceptible to sunburn and damage from frost so  a small shelter while they establish is a very good idea. 16"/40cm pot - Espalier, weaved onto lattice.
