| Description | Gardenia augusta
Florida is one of the best gardenias available, producing masses of perfumed flowers on a hardy plant.
- Beautifully scented
- Prolific flowering
- Great for low landscaping
| Buxus sempervirens
English Box is Melbourne’s most popular box hedging and topiary plant.
• Low maintenance, only requiring 1-2 prunings a year
• Evergreen with no flowers
• Ideal for pots, framing entrances and pathways or as a feature
These mature English Box plants have been carefully trained and clipped into a traditional conical shape. Fantastic for ornate or formal pots, or as a garden feature. | Lavandula angustifolia
Munstead Lavender is a dwarf-rounded bush with aromatic grey-green foliage. It produces dense spikes of aromatic beautiful tiny purple to violet flowers during summer. These are lighter in colour than Hidcote Lavender, and the plant grows slightly larger.
8" pot size | Callistemon Viminalis "Green John"
Green John has nice light green foliage which looks fantastic in contrast to older dark green mature foliage, its green foliage also compliments well with its red flowers. It is faster to grow and establish than other varieties. Will reach its full height potential when maintained, but will be smaller in tough roadside conditions. Produces red flowers during Spring.
Green John is best grown in full sun to part shade. Suits sandy to well drained soils. Tolerant of drought and cold. Grows to approximately 1m in height. This low maintenance plant makes a grea feature plant or can be trimmed to a hedge. |
| Content | Gardenias are warm climate plants, which are at their best in a mild, humid climate. They are seen to perfection in frost-free areas north of Sydney and Perth, but will grow in cooler areas like Melbourne in a warmer, protected position. | For more information, visit our English Box Factsheet. | | |
