Description

Buxus microphylla japonica

Japanese Box is a hardy evergreen compact shrub with dark green oval foliage when mature, its new growth being a light green colour. Japanese Box is the best box hedge for warmer regions as it tolerates heat better than other Buxus plants. It is suitable for a full sun to part shade position and requires little water once established. Japanese Box are a traditional favourite, as they are perfect for formal evergreen hedges. Small glossy green foliage on a compact dense shrub, make them perfect for clipping or topiary. Buxus japonica can grow in full shade but will take much longer to establish. This plant has a moderate growth rate growing to approximately 1m in height. Plant 25cm apart  - 4 per meter for an optimum hedge.
Buxus sempervirens variegata 'English box' Variegated Variegated English Box produces small dark green foliage with a creamy-white edging that  adds a twist to the otherwise ordinary English Box. It is happily pruned and is ideal for pots, low borders & edging or topiary's. It grows best in full sun but can tolerate partial shade. It prefers a well draining soil and adequate water in the warmer months. This slow growing plant grows to approximately 1m in height.Betula pendula 'Dalecarlica' The Cut-Leaf Birch is a very graceful tree with distinctive feathery foliage and fine white bark. It is slender and graceful enough to be a part of a small garden without appearing too dominant, and is also effective in larger areas planted alone or in groups. A moderate growing and medium sized tree, ideal for either a small garden setup or even a larger forest-like vista, this tree will grow well in most soils in a sunny to part shade position. A beautiful specimen tree not to be looked over! 10"/25cm pot size

Quercus robur

English Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown. As the foliage is smaller than other deciduous trees, fallen leaves are not particularly difficult to eliminate and will not clog drains. 10"/25cm pot
