Native to Southeast Australia, it flowers pale brown from Winter to early Spring, and also features small pine-like seed cones. An excellent windbreak in coastal areas and great for shade and shelter, it's round headed shape also make the Drooping Sheoak a good specimen tree or street tree. Can grow in even the most difficult soils and will tolerate coastal or even the hottest conditions. | Lagerstroemia indica x fauriei 'Tuscarora''Tuscarora' is one of the best of the dark fuchsia-pink flowering Lagerstroemia's. The flowers and highly ornamental bark make this tough small tree a useful specimen or screening tree. Crepe Myrtles are adaptable to a range of conditions, heat and some dryness but requires adequate moisture during establishment. So can also be used well as a street tree.
