Description

Choisya ternata

Mexican Orange Blossom is so named as it's flowers are of a similar nature and scent to an orange tree! The foliage is a mid to light green and is covered with masses of scented white flowers through Spring and Summer. This attractive shrub will grow to approx. 1.5 - 2m, but is happy to be clipped to suit. As a result it can be also used as a hedge or screen. It is best grown in full sun or part shade and is reasonably frost tolerant.

Santolina chamaecyparissus

Lavender Cotton has been used as a low border shrub or hedge for centuries. As a decorative element in the garden it is particularly stunning because of its silver-grey foliage. Lavender Cotton grows to about 50cm in height and the same in diameter. It looks wonderful left to sprawl informally, or clipped to a more formal shape. Lavender Cotton likes dry conditions, so it grows best in full sun in soil that is allowed to dry occasionally. This makes it a great low-maintenance plant for a neglected spot. All you need to do is trim it back after flowering. 8" pot size.
