Betula pendula fastigiata – Pyramid Birch

Upright Silver Birch is a great specimen tree that is an upright growing birch as its name suggests, with branches that intertwine as they grow. The leaves go from green to a beautiful butter yellow in the autumn.

Upright Birch excels in full sun, and prefers a moist, well drained soil. Used either separate as a specimen tree or planted together as informal screening. Maximum height roughly 10 metres.
