| Description | Agave attenuata
Agave are one of the easiest plants to establish and maintain. They grow in full sun to shade in most soil types. Agave are best grown in reasonably well drained soils and love to be watered regularly, once a week to once a fortnight, but will thrive in periods of dryness. | Banksia integrifolia
Banksia integrifolia or ‘Coastal Banksia’ is a hardy native found down the Eastern coastline of Australia. Often seen in windswept and sculptural shapes along beach fronts, when placed in a less hostile environment, they can become quite beautiful, bushy specimen plants. They grow anywhere between 4m - 10m and 1m - 5m wide, depending on their environment. During autumn and winter their yellow flowers form into large cones, rich with nectar. These stunning flowers attract lots of bird life, particularly cockatoos and honey-eaters. Coastal Banksia is a slow grower and can handle a wide range of soil types.
10" pot size. | Buxus sempervirens suffruticosa
A glossy green, rounded leaf box hedging plant
• Used for low to medium hedging and topiary
• Planted in the garden, along borders, pathways and in pots
• Tolerates shady positions
Slight discolouration of yellow may occur during cooler months, this is normal!
3"/7cm pot | Calibrachoa
Calibrachoa's other common names include: Million Bells or Mini Petunia.
This orange variety of cottage styled calibrachoa has a trailing habit maturing to 25cm tall by 50cm wide. Perfect for hanging baskets, pots and containers or even borders and ground covers in your garden. Position in full sun and part shade. Bird and Bee attracting. | Phoenix roebelenii 'Pygmy Date Palm'
Date Palms feature an interesting, classic palm trunk that forms and grows larger as it matures. They have a crown of elegant dark green lacy fronds cascading from the top of this. A mature Date Palm will reach 2-3 meters tall.
Old, dead fronds are best pruned off to expose the trunk as the tree ages and to keep it neat. The Date Palm is another good plant for creating a tropical feel in the garden which does well down South. | Escallonia Iveyi
Escallonia Iveyi is a quick growing, evergreen plant with fragrant white flowers in summer. Ideal for hedges, borders or screening.
It is particulary hardy and will cope with coastal conditions as well as a hot, dry location, but does not cope with humidity. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established. Plant 70cm apart for hedges and borders.
6" pot size, approximately 15-25cm in height. | Epipremnum aureum 'Goldilocks'
Golden Pothos is a very hardy indoor plant, known for it's air purifying qualities. It produces long trailing vines with beautiful golden foliage.
This variety looks best hanging from your bookcase or windowsill. Golden Pothos enjoys filtered light. A fantastic home or office plant.
