Description

Quercus robur

English Oaks are famous for being solid and strong. The trunk and secondary branches are very solid and are covered in thick blackish-grey bark which makes it quite a sight. The autumn foliage is a rich, dark brown. As the foliage is smaller than other deciduous trees, fallen leaves are not particularly difficult to eliminate and will not clog drains. 10"/25cm pot

Lavandula angustifolia

Traditionally English Lavender was grown for its heavenly fragrance, used in oils and potpourri. • Small, slender blue-ish purple flowers on tall stems above the foliage • Grown in pots, as a hedge or in the cottage garden to attract bees and butterflies Tolerates drought and dry conditions, preferring well drained soils 6"/14cm pot

Polygala myrtifolia x dalmaisiana

Polygala Dazzler is a shrub that originates from South Africa and has attractive, almost year round, purple pea-like flowers on light green foliage. It makes a great flowering hedge. Polygala Dazzler prefers a well-drained position, but tolerates poor soils, frost and dry conditions. Pruning in early Spring will encourage bushiness and flowers. Best feed regularly with a slow release fertiliser. 10" pot size.

Dianella tasmanica

Cherry Red has handsome strap foliage which reach about 75cm high, forming a clump the same width. Striking cherry red leaf bases and stunning flower stems catch the eye, additional deep blue flowers add an interesting contrast in late Spring and Summer. Cherry Red is a multi-purpose plant, eye-catching in containers or planted as borders along driveways or path edges, and mass planted in large beds for strong simple effect. Cool temperate to tropical climates and well drained soils will suit it.

Osteospermum

African daisy have only been in trade since the early '90s, making it a fairly recent addition to the horticultural world. With their daisylike blossoms in a myriad of colors, osteospermums were a quick hit. Plant these cheery blooms with other cool-season plants for a pleasing pop of colour. The first of the season to bloom and the last out of bloom. It's mounding habit is great for garden beds, baskets or mixed containers. Responds well to regular watering. Love full sun! Grows approximately H:60 cm W: 60 cm
