It is sometimes called the Banana Shrub as the flowers have a banana-like fragrance. The Port Wine Magnolia is known for its highly fragrant perfume when in flower, particularly at night. Usually evergreen, but can be slightly deciduous in very cold areas and is usually frost tolerant. | Osteospermum ecklonis Osteospermum ‘3D’ flowers have a slightly raised bed of larger florets in the centre of the flower head that resemble a pom-pom. The flowers blooms stay open all day and all night and last from spring through to early autumn. This variety makes for a wonderful cut flower or creates full colour impact in the landscape and is picture perfect when used in containers. | Olea EuropaeaKalamata is a small-sized tree that has thin, leather-like foliage which is green with a silver underside. The olives are fantastic for cooking and snacking on. Kalamata is great when planted in bunches if the room permits. It can also be potted or planted in small to medium gardens for interest and fruit.
