Castanea sativa Emerald Gem Chestnut is a fast growing, deciduous, medium tree with large, green leaves with massed clusters of scented, white with yellow-red speckled flowers in Spring followed by edible, dark brown nuts encased in a prickly, golden burr in Autumn.
