| Description | Alpinia galanga Native to southern China, Thai ginger or Greater Galangal has lovely green lush foliage and produces pretty, upright creamy white flowers from summer, giving your garden a lush tropical feel. It grows very well here in Australia and can handle the cold. Plant in full sun to part shade in well drained moist soil. Can mature to around 1.5-2m tall.
