Description

Banksia marginata 'Silver Banksia'

A classic woody native Australian shrub, Banksias are great for a low maintenance garden and create interest with their recognizable flower cones. Silver Banksias will grow to the size of a large shrub and and good for screening. They're also great for coastal areas, as they're naturally found by the sea and tolerate sand and salt. 10" pot size.

Betula pendula youngii 'Weeping Silver Birch'

Weeping Silver Birch is a beautiful tree that is medium sized. Grows best in a position of full sun to partial shade. Silver Birch is great for larger gardens and parks etc. It's bark remains white at the base. This tree is easy to grow and will thrive in most types of soil. This Weeping Silver Birch is deciduous and bears lovely small green leaves. 12" pot size, approximately 6ft tall.

Acer palmatum

The strongest growing maple amongst all Japanese maples, growing elegant palmate green leaves making it a wonderful shade tree. • Gorgeous autumn colour of yellow and orange • Tolerates full sun unlike most Japanese maples • Grows 5-7m tall 8"/20cm pot size

Fraxinus griffithii 'Evergreen Flowering Ash'

Evergreen Flowering Ash is a fast growing evergreen tree, it bears foliage that is glossy green on top and a hairy silver colour underneath. Ideal as a feature tree for the garden, parks or street planting. Evergreen Flowering Ash is best placed in full sunlight with well drained soil. It is drought tolerant and requires low maintenance once established. Grows to approximately 8 meters in height. 16" pot size. Approximately 2m in height, with a thicker more advanced trunk.

Phoenix roebelenii 'Pygmy Date Palm'

Date Palms feature an interesting, classic palm trunk that forms and grows larger as it matures. They have a crown of elegant dark green lacy fronds cascading from the top of this. A mature Date Palm will reach 2-3 meters tall. Old, dead fronds are best pruned off to expose the trunk as the tree ages and to keep it neat. The Date Palm is another good plant for creating a tropical feel in the garden which does well down South.
Osteospermum ecklonis 'Serenity Coral Magic™' African Daisy Serenity Coral Magic is a bushy, evergreen flowering perennial with a profusion of large peach coloured daisy flowers with a pink centre. They are a compact well branched shrub that is a perfect addition to sunny borders or planter boxes.Excellent for slopes. TIP: Cut back in late Summer to encourage reblooming and improve habit.  

Coleonema pulchellum aurea

Golden Diosma is one of the most popular garden shrubs. It has fine, small bright green-gold foliage which darkens in summer. Fragrant flowers and leaves release a beautiful scent when brushed past. 6''/14cm pot

Persea americana ‘Avocado’ (Bacon)

Upright vigorous avocado producing pear shaped fruit of medium quality. Most cold hardy variety, down to -5C. Great for Victoria. Avocados are very fussy about their soil conditions and will not tolerate wet feet or heavy soils, it is essential to prepare the ground for an avocado well before planting.  Young trees are susceptible to sunburn and damage from frost so  a small shelter while they establish is a very good idea. 10'' pot size - Plants looking wintery
ContentAcer palmatum is well known for it’s beautiful array of colours throughout the year, with it’s green foliage turning into a stunning crimson red in the Autumn before falling. Through the Winter it makes up for it’s lack in foliage with it’s greyish-purple bark that stands out.
