| Description | Banksia integrifoliaBanksia integrifolia or ‘Coastal Banksia’ is a hardy native found down the Eastern coastline of Australia. Often seen in windswept and sculptural shapes along beach fronts, when placed in a less hostile environment, they can become quite beautiful, bushy specimen plants. They grow anywhere between 4m - 10m and 1m - 5m wide, depending on their environment. During autumn and winter their yellow flowers form into large cones, rich with nectar. These stunning flowers attract lots of bird life, particularly cockatoos and honey-eaters. Coastal Banksia is a slow grower and can handle a wide range of soil types. 10" pot size. | Olea europaea
The Common Olive (source of Ultra Virgin Olive Oil) is a fantastic, adaptable, edible tree! It is wind tolerant, frost-hardy, and evergreen and can reach 8m tall if untrimmed making it perfect for windbreaks and screening around properties.
| Prunus amereniacaMoorpark is a favourite well-known apricot with excellent flavour. The fruit are a little smaller but the flavour they provide is much more intense, and they ripen in January through February. Moorpark is compact and self fertile, and does well in dry Summers. This is an ideal tree for producing yummy fruit as well as adding some interest to your garden. | Cotinus Coggygria, SmoketreePurple Smoke Bush is a gem in the garden thanks to it's unique blend of colours that change throughout the seasons. A large deciduous shrub or small tree, its beautiful eye-catching Spring foliage is green overlaid with purple. Summer brings deep purple foliage that then turns deep orange and bronze in a burst of glory for an Autumn show. Purple Smokebush gets its name from the clouds of smoke-like purple and pink "flowers" it produces in early Summer. These are very beautiful themselves, and are prized along with the foliage by florists. Grows best in full sun to partial shade and it is tolerant of drought and most soils, making it a great addition to many gardens. 10" pot size. | ||||||||||||||||||
