Description

Buxus sempervirens

English Box is Melbourne’s most popular box hedging and topiary plant. • Low maintenance, only requiring 1-2 prunings a year • Evergreen with no flowers • Ideal for pots, framing entrances and pathways or as a feature These English Box plants have been specially grown and shaped into a formal ball-on-a-stick or "standard" shape, which looks fantastic as a stand out feature in the garden or in pots. They look especially good framing entrance ways or lining paths and driveways. 10"/25cm pot. Approximately 2-3ft in height. (Topiary ball)

Ulmus parvifolia

The bark of the Chinese Elm is a real stand out feature, as the tree sheds it in patches, creating the effect of a tapestry of varying browns and greys. Foliage is lush, shiny and green, and the tree is semi deciduous, turning golden in autumn, and keeping its leaves in warmer areas. It has also been noted by many Aussie gardeners in recent years that native birds enjoy the fruit of the Chinese Elm.
