Snowy River Wattle is a large shrub that grows to approximately 2m in height but sometimes attains up to 4 m in height. It grows on rocky slopes and along creeks in sandy and gravelly soils. This plant is frost tolerant and able to grow in restricted sites, in areas where breakable stems are needed, and sites where screening is desired.
Snowy River is covered with fine lemon-yellow flowers in late Winter. These flowers last for 4-6 weeks, and compliment the fine, grey-green foliage admirably. When not in flower, this foliage provides an excellent, lush mass | Borago officinalis
