Cedrus atlantica

The Atlas cedar is an evergreen tree reaching a height of 25m tall and 10m wide at a medium pace. It cannot grow in the shade. It prefers dry or moist soil and can tolerate drought. The plant can tolerates strong winds but not maritime exposure. It can tolerate atmospheric pollution.

Picea pungens

Blue Spruce (Abies, Fir) is a medium sized evergreen conifer with thin, grey bark, and fine and narrow dull grey-green needle like foliage. It produces cones that are pendulous and cylindrical. These start out a reddish colour and turn brown when mature. Mature growth: 2x2m. Slow to moderate growth rate. (Common names: Blue spruce, Colorado blue spruce, white spruce, silver spruce)
