Description

Wisteria frutescens

Amethyst Falls is a strong grower often reaching 30 feet or more in height, it is, however, not invasive like other varieties. It is easier to manage and won't start to choke other vegetation around it. Amethyst Falls bears flowers that are vivid blue and give off a fragrance, these appear during Spring and repeat all Summer. This is a hardy variety that is drought tolerant and disease resistant. Acer palmatum var. dissectum atropurpureum 'Ever Red'

Ever Red is a vigorous weeping Maple with a more horizontal habit. In Spring the fine foliage is purple, with a silvery halo of silken hairs, creating a wonderful contrast. In Autumn the leaves turn bright red before falling.

Escallonia Iveyi

Escallonia Iveyi is a quick growing, evergreen plant with fragrant white flowers in summer. Ideal for hedges, borders or screening. It is particulary hardy and will cope with coastal conditions as well as a hot, dry location, but does not cope with humidity. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established. Plant 70cm apart for hedges and borders. 6" pot size, approximately 15-25cm in height.
