Description

Osteospermum eckloniis

The Akila Sunset Shades African Daisy has a beautiful array of assorted colours throughout Spring. This is a great choice for mass planting African Daisies for a garden bed or border, where you want a nice mix of colour but don’t want to fiddle around picking an assortment of varieties. African Daisies in general are very hardy landscaping plants with a low growing, spreading habit. They will grow to a width of around 35-50cm and a height of only roughly 30cm. Keep in mind that, as this is an assorted mix of purples and white flowering colours, when buying single plants it’s not possible to predict which colour you will get. Best to buy at least 6 and enjoy the colour selection nature provides. 4"/10cm pot

Buxus sempervirens suffruticosa

A glossy green, rounded leaf box hedging plant • Used for low to medium hedging and topiary • Planted in the garden, along borders, pathways and in pots • Tolerates shady positions

Burgundy morrisonii

Burgundy Tea Tree is a tall, fast growing shrub with striking burgundy coloured foliage and an abundance of white flowers in spring. It makes an excellent selection for a background plant, screen or hedge particularly because of its fine tea tree foliage and burgundy colour. It has a gentle weeping habit and can also be used as a lovely addition to a cut flower arrangement. Burgundy Tea Tree is an evergreen shrub that suits coastal locations and attracts birds. Total height approx: 3m x 1.5m wide
ContentIf your looking for a small hedging plant then this is the one for you. Dutch Box is a dwarf box that grows with dense, glossy green foliage and works well in shaded areas. Dutch Box also likes part shade in moist, well-drained soil, but will tolerate a wide range of soils and conditions. It should be clipped to maintain a formal shape. Slight yellow discolouration of the leaves on Dutch box may occur during cooler months, but don't worry, this is normal! This is remedied by applying with Dolomite Lime, and a slow release fertilizer a month later. Or you can just leave your Dutch Box alone and it will come back lovely and green and spring.
