DescriptionA set and forget controlled release plant food formulated specifically for roses and acid-loving plants, both in the garden and in pots. It contains enhanced levels of slow-release iron and magnesium to promote healthy, dark foliage and is ideal for those who don't have the time or inclination to tend every plant or garden bed individually. This specially formulated fertilizer is ideal for acid-loving plants and feeds continuously for up to six months. • Contains 6 months feed • Plus trace elements • Fast and Easy • No Surge Growth A few popular ericaceous (acid-loving) plants include azaleas, rhododendrons, hydrangeas, camellias, daffodils, blueberries, and nasturtiums. FEATURES
  • The release of nutrients depends on temperature - more when it's warm and plants are growing and less when it's cold and growth is slow
  • Scotts Osmocote® uses advanced prill technology that ensures even and controlled nutrient release with no wastage
  • Controlled release means feeding less often and more effectively; less frequent feeding is more economical and environment-friendly
  • Wetting agent improves water absorption into the soil or potting mix and helps plants take up nutrients
  • Boosted iron keeps leaves greener for longer
SUITABLE FOR
  • All plants in the garden or in pots preferring an acid soil or potting mix and fertiliser (pH 5.2 - 6.2)
  • Roses in the ground and in pots
  • Safe to use on new plants - the controlled release of nutrients means it will not burn soft leaves or tender young roots
Size 500g
Rosa floribunda The Black Forest rose produces masses of bright red, ruffled blooms with extremely healthy dark green foliage. It provides a colourful display from late spring to late autumn, and will often spot flowers even into winter. Floribunda roses are hardy, vigorous and repeat flowering, making them ideal plants to have in large pots or as hedges or borders. 8''/20cm pot - approx 3ft tall (90cm)

Escallonia Iveyi

Escallonia Iveyi is a quick growing, evergreen plant with fragrant white flowers in summer. Ideal for hedges, borders or screening. It is particulary hardy and will cope with coastal conditions as well as a hot, dry location, but does not cope with humidity. Frost hardy and drought tolerant once established.  Plant 70cm apart for hedges and borders. 6" pot size, approximately 15-25cm in height.

Callistemon citrinus 'Kings Park Special'

Callistemon Kings Park Special features narrow green leaves and deep red bottle-brush flowers that are grouped together in bunches, making a spectacular display in spring and autumn. Kings Park Special is one of the larger Callistemons, so it's great for a tall screen or feature tree. Like all callistemons, it's hardy and bird attracting.

Lavandula angustifolia "Hidcote"

Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf bush with aromatic silver-green leaves bearing slender spikes of dark purple-blue flowers during spring and summer. The flowers are darker in colour than Munstead lavendar, and Hidcote does not grow as tall. 6" pot size, approximately 8-20cm in height.
Lysimachia nummularia What an attractive alternative to your regular old lawn or groundcover, Lysimachia Creeping Jenny gives an instant wow factor to any garden! The fast growing vibrant green rounded foliage creates a soft carpet, which is safe for medium foot traffic. Creeping Jenny is not only limited to lawns. It makes quite a show spilling over retaining walls, cascading down hanging baskets or as a highlight in an otherwise dreary garden bed. Creeping Jenny prefers moist well draining soil but can tolerate periods of dry. Grows in full shade - full sun quite happily provided there is moisture in the soil. If in a full sun position with poor soil and little water you will find it will not creep as very far but will retain its colour and vigour. 10''/25cm - hanging basket

Prunus persica 'Dwarf Peach Tree'

Dwarf Peach Tree is a white fleshed freestone variety is ideally suited to the subtropics. The compact size of this variety makes it ideal for the back yards or as a potted specimen. Seed grown and will bear in 2 years. It produces very attractive pink blossoms. The peaches are delicious and juicy great for eating fresh or making deserts with! 10" pot size.
Eucalyptus pauciflora  Commonly known as: Snow gum, Cabbage gum or White Sally. The Snow Gum is a white trunked beauty and is recognizable by its wonderful twisted growing habit, which originates from the tree's coping mechanism for loads of snow in its native Aussie alpine home. It produces white flowers in spring/summer.Gardenia augusta 'Veitchii' Ocean Pearl is a medium, compact, evergreen shrub that produces beautifully scented white creamy flowers in the warmer months. The highly fragrant flowers can be cut and enjoyed indoors in a vase. Gardenia Ocean Pearl can be drought and frost hardy once established and is happy in either garden beds or pots. Mature growth: 1x1m
