Ideal companions for Granny Smith apple trees are Snow, Fuji and Pink Lady. This is because they all flower at a similar time. 16''/40cm pot The term 'Serpentine' describes the configuration of the espalier, characterized by a robust central leader that has been shaped into an 'S' form.
