| Description | Anigozanthos flavidus 'Regal Velvet'
Regal Velvet is a deep red, and when compared to other Kangaroo Paws requires less trimming and is much tougher and capable of overcoming weeds. It bears beautiful red flowers with green highlights that will grow to a height of up to 1.4 meters.
Regal Velvet is perfect for mass planting and low maintenance gardens. Thrives in an open position full of sunlight and well drained soils. | Luma apiculata
Myrtus Luma is the medium to tall hedge with real traditional style. A lot of people believe the only fast growing larger hedge with fine foliage is the Pittosporum. It is an extraordinarily versatile plant suitable for hedging, screening, topiary, or as a specimen tree, but its small, aromatic leaves respond so well to pruning that it is commonly used as a hedge.
Myrtus luma also makes a wonderful specimen tree if left unpruned. With age it forms an outstanding trunk with cinnamon brown branches. Its bark peels to reveal streaks of pink and beige. What a plant! It really should be seen more in Australian gardens.
| Wisteria sinensis 'Alba'
Chinese White Wisteria is the gorgeous white variety of the highly popular Wisteria sinensis. The sinensis varieties are very popular due to their blooms appearing on bare vines in the spring, before the leaves appear. It makes for a gorgeous feature of solid, fragrant colour.
Wisteria sinensis is a very hardy twisting vine that prefers a full sun position in a moist, well drained humus soil. The gorgeous white flowers of the Wisteria sinensis 'Alba' are slightly smaller than that of the Wisteria floribunda 'Alba', hanging 18-30cm long off the vine.
