DescriptionSarracenias Common names: Pitcher Plants or Trumpet Plants. Sarracenia is a genus of carnivorous plants Indigenous to the eastern seaboard of the United States. They produce upright, funnel or pitcher shapes to trap insects and digest nutrients. They are very delicate plants and will need at least 6 hours of sunlight daily, sheltered by winds and frosts. Keep soil moist and use Sphagnum moss or peat moss. 6"/14cm pot

Malus purpurea

The Purple Crab Apple makes a handsome small tree, quite round topped in maturity. With beautiful flowers which are a deep, red-purple colour creating an effect that looks almost unbelievably rich. A great specimen tree, in Autumn the Purple Crab Apple has dark purple fruit and leaves which turn shades of yellow and red. 13" pot size.
