Description

Solanum betaceum

Red Tamarillo produces fruit that is petite and teardrop shaped with a glossy smooth cranberry coloured skin flesh containing small soft edible seeds. The skin is thin and far too bitter to be eaten. Its flesh, though, when ripe, is bright, sweet-tart and piquant in flavour. Prefers a sheltered spot with well drained soil. Red Tamarillo are very quick growing and will crop in 18mths reaching a height of 2-3 meters. They require well drained soil and are sensitive to wind and frost. 6''/14cm pot
Rosa floribunda Margaret Merril produces dainty, semi-double blooms with a spicy but citrus flavour. A quick repeat flowering rose, loved all around the world. 8" pot size, approximately 2ft in height. Available online ONLY - Not in-store.Agonis flexuosa 'Burgundy' Agonis Burgundy is a small attractive tree with a beautiful weeping habit which bears white clusters of long lasting flowers. Its foliage is probably the most spectacular feature as it has dark burgundy coloured leaves. The leaves are aromatic when crushed.

Lavandula angustifolia "Hidcote"

Hidcote Lavender is a dwarf bush with aromatic silver-green leaves bearing slender spikes of dark purple-blue flowers during spring and summer. The flowers are darker in colour than Munstead lavendar, and Hidcote does not grow as tall. 6" pot size, approximately 8-20cm in height.
ContentRoses are easily one of the most popular and widely cultivated groups of flowering plants. Numerous different cultivars have been produced over the last two centuries, although roses have been grown for millennia before their popularity bloomed. Renowned for their flowers and beauty, they are also loved for other reasons such as their fruit. The rose hip can be made into an old fashioned jam. Roses range in size and variety from your standard and bush roses to climbers and weeping varieties. Amongst all their beautiful colours, varieties and fragrances there is bound to be the perfect rose out there for your garden.
