Magnolia stellata

Waterlily Magnolia is a cultivar of Magnolia stellata Star Magnolia. It produces masses of furry buds that show pink on opening and the flowers are a very pale pink, quickly fading to white. It has green foliage, before shedding it's leaves in winter as it's deciduous. It is commonly used as a feature tree, with a non-invasive root system so they present few problems when planted near pathways or buildings or pots. Mature growth: 9x5m
