| Description | Syringa x microphylla 'Bailbelle' Widely regarded as one of the best dwarf lilacs, this plant has better flower color, foliage, and growth habit. It makes a great border plant for smaller gardens and courtyards and works well as a container specimen. This compact deciduous shrub grows to about 1.5 meters high and has a rounded shape with oval, dark green leaves.
