Description

Lomandra hystrix

Katie Belles is a clumping grass-like perennial with broad shiny green foliage and masses of scented yellow flowers in spring. Great as a background plant or for mass planting in the garden and larger landscaping. Grows well in both sun and shade, tolerant of humidity and damper soils. Will handle periods of dryness, but watering will produce a happier plant. Suits most soil types, great for erosion control, for rain gardens and the thick growth will suppress weeds. Fertilise in spring. Grows to 1.7m high and 1m wide 6"/14cm pot

Banksia marginata 'Silver Banksia'

A classic woody native Australian shrub, Banksias are great for a low maintenance garden and create interest with their recognizable flower cones. Silver Banksias will grow to the size of a large shrub and and good for screening. They're also great for coastal areas, as they're naturally found by the sea and tolerate sand and salt. 10" pot size.

Pinus densiflora 'Osmaston Compact'

Another dwarf cultivar of the "Japanese Red Pine". Similar to Pinus densiflora 'Low Glow' in its rounded habit, but the needles are longer and a darker green colour. It also is slightly quicker in its growth. It should reach approximately 1 metre by 1 metre in the first 10 years. As with most Pines, a sunny position is best. Ideal for rockeries, Japanese gardens or patio pots. 8'' pot
