| Description | Camellia sasanquaCamellia "Asakura" is an evergreen shrub that grows to over 3m tall. In Winter it bears large semi double white flowers with large gold stamens. Young flowers can have a pinkish edge on the petals. Plant in a sunny position in rich well drained soil. Water well and mulch in hotter months. Cara Mia produces elegant deep-red blooms, standing high on it's stems with green glossy foliage. Prune and fertilize annually after the flowering season. Remove spent flowers to encourage new growth—plant in full sun with a well drained soil.
