Description

Thymus serpyllum

Pink Chintz thyme, is a low growing, ground covering perennial. It has all the same characteristics of Mother of Thyme, and is often called the same, only it has a paler pink flower. A hardy evergreen that once established, is quite drought resistant. It loves full sun in well drained soil. Water regularly until established. It's ground covering nature makes it a great ornamental plant, and people use it between paving and stepping stones, and in walkways. It's hardiness makes it great underfoot! It's also a great addition to any rock garden. This variety of thyme has a strong oregano type scent, and can be used in cooking in all the same ways as other thyme varieties.
Banksia ericifolia 'Little Eric' A terrific hardy small shrub which can be used for low hedging and screening as well as a lovely feature plant, and does well in coastal gardens.  It has attractive orange flowers with maroon styles and whitish perianth from winter through spring, and they are highly attractive to large and small honey eating birds and insects. It suits a wide range of conditions and soils, including dry and partly shaded spots, where it will still flower. It is a very easy care plant.  It can also be pruned into a more dense shape, this is best done in autumn and after flowering. It is a more compact form of Banksia ericifolia. 6''/14cm pot
