Description

Fagus sylvatica purpurea Pendula

An absolute must-have in any large garden, the magnificent Weeping Copper Beech. The strange weeping habit of this particular beech creates a quirky interest where you'll find yourself staring at it for hours. The rich purple leaves appear in spring against a mottled grey trunk. In autumn the large round leaves turn reddish/orange. The Copper Beech tolerates full sun to part shade, however, in the Victorian climate it would benefit from afternoon summer shading. Grows best in well-drained, loamy soil and is considered a slow-growing tree. 16"/40cm pot size

Dodonaea viscosa

Mr Green Sheen/Screen is a bright green variety of Dodonaea, a hardy, upright evergreen shrub originating from Tasmania. It also has winged red and yellow flowers that are produced in Summer and Autumn. Dodonaea makes a fantastic native hedge that responds well to pruning. This shrub needs minimal water once established. It also grows in most soil types.

Westringia fruticosa 'Smokey' Coastal rosemary

Westringia Smokey is a hardy native shrub with white flowers on display most of the year. This variety is low maintenance and adaptable to most soil types. Makes a great low native hedge, very tough. Commonly used for its foliage colour, contrasts well against dark greens. Tolerates windy, coastal conditions. 8" pot size.
