Beaucarnea recurvata

The Ponytail Palm is an evergreen minature tree that is native to semi-desert areas of certain South American countries. It is commonly grown as a houseplant and not only has aesthetic foliage but also produces creamy white flowers. Pony Tail Palms are noted for having a large, swollen, water-retaining base. Its trunk bears thin, flat, palm-like leaves. It is drought tolerant and is best placed in a position of full sunlight. Requires low maintenance. 24"/60cm pot size.
