| Description | Calodendron capense Is a small to medium sized tree with dense, lush foliage and a spreading crown, making it an idea specimen or luscious, shade tree. In midsummer it has beautiful spikes of spidery, mauve flowers with an intoxicating perfume. Hardy and easy to grow in all environments, except those with frost. A rose was named after Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, who stated, "I paint flowers so they will not die". It bears gorgeous multi-coloured petals with scarlet red and gold striped swirls. Its a fantastic modern shrub rose for borders with vigouros growth.

| Content | Acer palmatum is well known for it’s beautiful array of colours throughout the year, with it’s green foliage turning into a stunning crimson red in the Autumn before falling. Through the Winter it makes up for it’s lack in foliage with it’s greyish-purple bark that stands out. It has a good tolerance to most soil types and conditions once established. Although it prefers a cooler position making it frost tolerant with moist, well-drained soils. It doesn’t do as well in a area of strong winds and hot sun. | |||||||||||||
