| Description | Protea magnificaProtea ‘Queen’ is a regal hybrid variety admired for its large, silvery-pink flower heads with elegant feathery tips. Blooming from late autumn into winter, its striking blooms sit above leathery grey-green foliage, making it a bold feature in garden beds or floral arrangements. Highly attractive to birds and pollinators, this hardy shrub thrives in full sun and free-draining soils.
| Thysanolaeana maximusTiger Grass is a lush, well-behaved privacy screen that reaches approximately 3m in height. Essential for Asian-style gardens, elegant in casual outdoor spaces. Happy in large pots. Tiger Grass is a great alternative to bamboo, producing long slender canes and large leaves. It does not produce side shoots or runners. This shrub prefers full sun but will tolerate a small amount of shade. Leaves may become yellow in cooler climates during Winter and become green again in Spring. Will not attract tigers to your garden! 8" pot size. | Sarcococca confusaSweet Box is a bushy evergreen with glossy leaves that is perfect for medium to low hedges but not as well known and used as it should be. During Winter, fine and delicate, sweetly scented, creamy flowers appear followed by shiny black berries. Sweet Box has shiny, deep green, foliage and this variety usually only grows to a maximum height of around 4ft. Unless you want a tightly clipped formal hedge or border, it needs very little trimming. Sweet Box likes a position of both full sunlight and part shade in a sheltered location. If your hedge travels under a shady spot, try Sweet Box - it is quite happy in shade! It should be ideally planted in moist, well draining soil. 8''/20cm pot | ||||||||
