Acer palmatum 'Ariadne'

Ariadne is a beautiful maple that produces Spring leaves which emerge orange pink, reticulated with green veins. Summer leaves become a deep maroon and age to a light show of orange and red in Autumn. An upright grower that reaches approximately 1.5m in height and 1m in width over the period of 10 years. Ideal for areas requiring a mid sized tree to add beautiful Spring colour. Ariadne is a semi-dwarf variety with a nice bushy spreading habit, gradually forming a lovely small tree. It can also be pruned to keep it in a compact bushy form. Performs best when placed in a partial shade position. 10" pot size.

Phlox subulata

Moss Phlox is a dense ground covering plant. It produces interesting flowers that are bright fuchsia pink. They bloom during Spring. This evergreen displays foliage that is narrow, short and quite stiff. Moss Phlox is reliable and requires low-maintenance. Ideal for use on dry banks and creating appealing cascades over walls and the like. Requires a position of full sunlight. It is also drought tolerant. 6"/14cm pot
