| Description | Carex flacca glaucaBlue Creeping Sedge is not a well-known species but is a versatile and carefree groundcover that tolerates a wide range of conditions. This variety forms a low, creeping mound of narrow blue-green, grassy looking foliage. Short spikes of flowers are insignificant. Nice for edging, in the rock garden or containers. May be mown or clipped in early spring to tidy up any brown leaf tips. Clumps are easily divided in spring or early fall. Evergreen in most regions. Very drought tolerant once established. Grows to approximately 30cm tall by 40cm wide. 8" pot size. | ||
