Tilia cordata 

Linden Tree is a medium sized deciduous tree with a spreading, rounded crown. The glossy, dark green foliage is heart-shaped and turns a yellow-ish green in Autumn. A native to Europe, it has attractive foliage and pendulous, fragrant, pale yellow flowers in Summer, followed by small winged nutlets. The bark adds further interest with its ridges and furrows. This variety is bee and butterfly attracting. The flowers are also known to be used to make a soothing, fragrant tea. 24"/60cm pot

Common names: tuckeroo, carrotwood, beach tamarind and green-leaved tamarind The Tuckeroo is an Australian native feature tree with a rounded shape and evergreen foliage. The roots are non invasive making it a popular with landscapers and often used in council gardens. Cream flowers appear during autumn followed by bright orange, bird attracting fruit in spring.
