| Description | Prunus cerasifera elvins
The Elvins Flowering Plum is a small growing deciduous tree with a fantastic Spring blossom display of white flowers which fade to pink. Good for a small size garden. | Hebe
Pretty in Pink Hebe is a dwarf flowering shrub with dark green foliage and deep rich burgundy tips on the younger foliage. Plentiful pink flowers the last a very long time.
Pretty in Pink does great in drought, and is excellent for pots, flowering from Autumn right through Winter. Likes a full sun to part shade position.
8"/20cm pot size. | Cistus ladaniferus
The gum rock rose (Brown-Eyed Rockrose) is an evergreen shrub that flowers with white, red spotted flowers during the summer. It grows to a max 1 meter, and is a good plant for poor soil which is drought tolerant once established. Low maintenance.
6" pot size. | Diplotaxis tenuifloia, Perennial Wall Rocket, Wild Arugula
Wild rocket is flowering perennial in the mustard family, native to Europe and Western Asia. It is grown worldwide as a salad leaf, and it gives a distinctive taste and texture in salads, either alone or mixed with other baby leaf crops. Wild rocket has a stronger flavour than regular salad rocket.
Wild rocket grows in clumps and can grow to over 50cm in height, and has small yellow flowers. It prefers full sun to part shade, in moist well drained soil, and proves very hardy and drought tolerant once established. Also suitable for pots. Remove flowers before seeding to stop the plant spreading. Harvest or trim young leaves regularly to promote fresh growth. Watch out for snails and slugs, they love rocket!
4" pot size. | Grevillea hybrid
Grevillea Firecracker displays a spectacular explosion of red and orange flowers, which are highlighted against soft to touch small evergreen foliage. One of the great benefits of this plant is that it flowers heaviest throughout the colder months of Autumn and Winter.
Firecracker is bound to brighten up any garden in Winter. Fire Cracker is an extremely tough plant, growing in areas which receive Winter frosts right through to hot Summers. The versatility of this plant makes it very appealing for beginner gardeners and professionals alike.
Grows approximately H:40 cm W:80 cm | Grevillea banksii
Grevillea Superb is a hardy, spreading, native shrub with narrow, prickly foliage. Its year round Apricot coloured flowers are not only beautiful but bird attractive.
Works well as a screening or feature plant. Flowers encourage nectar eating birds. Suited to low water, small, low maintenance and native gardens.
6"/14cm pot size. |

[one_half_last]
Prunus Elvins, or Elvin’s Flowering Plum, is a very compact deciduous tree, usually growing to less than 2 metres tall, with a beautiful white blossom that is very pretty and mildly fragrant. Definitely one of the nicest early spring blossoms, the white flowers have a lovely dusting of pink over the top that makes them so gorgeous.
When planted in a row or group of 2, 3 or 5 they put on a great show in spring, and being very dense and bushy they are great for a compact garden.
