Camellia sinensis 'Gadara Tea'

Green Tea, Black Tea, Oolong Tea all come from the leaves of Camellia sinensis.

This superior selection of the tea plant offers gardeners the chance to produce their own tea while enjoying the benefits of a compact selection of Camellia sinensis. Green Tea, Black Tea, Oolong Tea all come from the leaves of Camellia sinensis. It is simply the way you harvest them that makes the difference.

Leaf picking process:

Black: pick, crush/roll, dry at room temperature then dry in the oven at 120ºC for 20 minutes. Green: pick, dry in shade, steam for 1 minute, dry in oven at 120ºC for 20 minutes. Oolong: pick, wilt in sun, keep at room temperature, dry in oven at 120ºC for 20 minutes. Store processed leaves in air-tight containers.

Camellia floribunda

Camellia Paradise It's Gorgeous is a hardy, compact, evergreen shrub that reaches up to 4m tall. It bears bright hot pink buds that open in Autumn. Its Gorgeous camellias are hybrid camellias bred in Australia to suit conditions here. They're perfect for hedging and will also look great as a feature in a large container or pot. Plant in a sunny position in rich, well drained soil. Water well and mulch in hotter months. Prune lightly and fertilise in Spring. 10''/25cm pot size.
Helleborus hybrid  Ice 'n Roses Maestro is a stunning interspecies hybrid from Germany prized for its spectacular display of creamy rose and dusty pink flowers, with a huge central boss of stamens. The flowers are borne on tall stems over a long period above evergreen foliage. An excellent subject for a patio pot. 7"/18cm pot

Cupressus torulosa

The Bhutan cypress or Himalayan cypress is a tall and dense foliaged conifer that is conical in shape, with dark green drooping foliage, and light brown cones that are quite small. It prefers mild and moist climates and it will grow very quickly, making it an excellent screen, hedge or windbreak on country properties. Mature growth 10m x 2.5m wide. 12"/30cm pot
