Golden Indian Bean Tree is a small to average-sized tree with a wide, capriciously branched crown. The heart-shaped foliage emerges late in Spring and is shed relatively early. When unfolding the leaf is purplish, but turns golden yellow soon and colours to yellow green in Summer. In Autumn it turns more yellow again. The white tubular flowers appear in erect panicles. This tree is great for offering shade as well as year round interest.

Take care to plant the bud union above the soil level. Water in well and keep soil moist until tree is established. Fertilise when planting and again after new growth appears. Prune to shape if necessary.
